| Went down to the fam this morning about 7:30-8:00, she was still in the corral with another pair , saw her laying up right with her head laying back along her side like she was sleeping and prolapsed uterus deader then a doornail, calf was laying in a plastic stock tank that I am using as a shelter in there on its side obviously had sucked its fill either from her or the other cow, most likely from her mother, nice looking heifer calf. Oh, for you Hereford haters it was one of the few purebred Herefords I have, but I will say have had far more issues with Limousines and Limousine crosses then I have with herefords and have had more of the Herefords over the last 20 years. Also had 4 other calves this morning with a 6th tonight. | |
