Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
Raven has a proximity sensor that I've seen used on spinner spreaders to monitor the spinner speed. The proximity sensor senses the presence of metal. No magnets are involved.

This required removing one of the stainless steel bolts that hold each spinner fin on and replacing it with a common bolt. The sensor will sense the common bolt/nut but not the stainless steel ones. This provides four trigger points and a spinner meter cal of "4" was appropriate.
