| For deer hunting it does not matter what size bullet you use with neck shots. All 4 legs collapse and the deer does not take one step. It saves you time and lost deer from poor shots. I have my own proven statistics to back it up with a pile of doe tags. The only humane way to kill deer is with neck shots at a reasonable distance or do not take the shot. If you have a steady hand take neck shots, but if you are a shaky guy I guess then you go for the body shot with a high caliber and blow the big hole and waste meat and chew the bullet fragments. I give all shot deer away so people appreciate the neck shots and I do not want the liability of giving away deer with bullet fragments inside.
