Franklinton, LA | Boiled shrimp are easy to prepare and everyone in the family likes them. When the grandchildren were a lot smaller the adults would peel shrimp for the children before we started eating. The grand kids would get plastic shopping bags and walk around the table waiting for us to finish.
They wanted the shrimp shells so they could dump them in the pine trees behind the house. Putting out shrimp shells to feed the possums was a big deal. | |
