Eastern NC | Biggest thing is how far out mixers are. My wife is a Rotomix dealer, has a 620 being finished in 3 weeks that was ordered 16 months ago, somewhat surprised that Kuhn is turning fresh orders around in a 6 month timeline, maybe the dealer already had a spot on hold?
My wild guess would be they are claiming tariff related surcharges on metal as the reason for price difference.
I know during the COVID years RM had a line on all
New build contracts related to surcharges, and they were only set 60 days prior to finish.
In relation to your direct question on advantages, the RM staggered reel sure has a pile of friends, but have to be careful on forage type at the 10% mark, better be close to silage length to have success and the more wet products utilized the better. | |
