Be sure and visit the American cementery at Normandy. It is truly a very humbling experience. I am a Viet Nam veteran and the Wall is a sacred place for me, but the sacrfices of the men who stormed those beaches is beyond my comprehension. Row upon row of white crosses makes the old eyes water a bit.
