I was there a couple of years ago and we drove ourselves around looking at a map.
I’ll say I wish we did a bus tour because we hit some great spots but some were duds. A guided tour would be better I believe.

We stayed in a small town that had a great museum and a foreign cemetery, not American. We went to the American cemetery and it was very nice a must see!! I have an uncle mom’s brother buried in an American cemetery in the Netherlands who was killed in WW2, I was to his grave in 2013.

Ate at a restaurant by our hotel and the French were not interested in speaking English, even the younger workers who usually are pretty good weren’t.

We spent a couple days there and it didn’t seem enough. There are a lot of little museums that we just drove by, kinda reminded me of a mom and pop operation.
