Legal decisions have left abortion as a medical procedure that doctors and the pregnant women decide.
Provinces are responsible for health care and not all provinces, territories or areas have access to abortion procedure and not all doctors or hospitals provide that procedure but it still is a medical procedure that doctors can decide to do or not according to the individual situation.
I am not a doctor. I am not a woman. So I will leave it up to them to make the decision on if it is necessary or not.
