North of London | Yes as others noted advance polls are open 9am-9pm Friday April 18 Saturday Sunday and Monday then final voting day is April 28th.
There is a mail in option that has to be applied for by April 22nd and received by the 28th
Also I understand there are mobile polls that will go to at least some hospitals and other institutions like nursing homes.
We usually receive a card called a Voters Card in the mail that lists the locations of polling and dates time etc.
We have to show an item of identification with an address on it with our card to get the ballot when we vote in person
The mail in is great for people who are shut in
Mother in law lived with us for a number of years and had gone mostly blind and was mobility challenged too so she got a mail in ballot so she could vote without having to go out.
