s nd | Early to mid teens pulling a 16 foot ih 620 press drill with an ih 826. My dad played the accordian in a band on weekends and I had to run whatever he was doing till dark. The drill would take 2 fertilizer fills to 1 grain fill. The night of the school dance I didn't do the routine the last fill and dad ran out of grain on his fist round. He filled and went on the first pass again and plugged the outside rows packer wheels with the disturbed wet soil. I blame my hearing loss on our 806, but it could have been dad yelling, too. He died when I was 21. I'm glad he yelled alot. | |
