Malta, Illinois | It isn't fair to blame it all on the pastor. Most churches have a governing council or board of Elders that have a heavy influence over the direction of music and worship at church. A pastor should be given free reign to minister as he sees bit but if the style of said pastor is hurting the church it is up to the people in charge to request a change or dismiss the pastor and call one who is more in tune with what the church needs. | |
