OntarioCanuck - 4/18/2025 15:08  No license for the government to kill in Canada and I don't object to that and I am not even one to just believe in a god that says 'do not kill'

Interesting play on words. From what I can find on the web Canada allows abortions at least through the 12th week in a pragnancy if not longer. A heartbeat and brain activity can be detected at 6 weeks in the growing fetus. What are some of the ways Doctors determine if a person is alive? Heartbeat and brain activity. Is not the fetus alive if it has a heartbeat and brain activity. So I would question your statement about no license to kill in Canada. Not so fun fact; in 2023 in Ontario there were 22,766 abortions performed.

You hit on a fact I find interesting: The Left in the USA likes to point to Canada, Europe, etc as examples to follow when it comes to progressive causes, but becomes dead silent when someone points out that Canada and Europe have not only stricter voter ID laws, but more abortion restrictions, as well. In a great case of irony, Ellen DeGeneres said that she and her partner were moving to Europe largely because of abortion restrictions in the USA, yet they moved to a place that has more abortion restrictions than where they were moving from (went from California to England)
