Well there was no school today so I asked my 16 yr old grandson if he’d like to ride along planting corn. I showed him some of the ropes and asked him if he’d like to try. We exchanged sits and he did fairly well for first time. However I had to tell him rule one like my dad did to me——. DO NOT BACK UP WITH PLANTER IN GROUND. My first time I was about 13 and dad had a 4 row dempster lister. How time have changed from 4-40” to 16-30” with auto steer.
Your talking way back if you were using a Dempster lister. I only saw those in the trees. Last lister dad had was a IH 92 cyclo.
