Close family friend just went thru Melanoma treatment.....excision to clean margins. They had told him initially that if they could excise a small enough area to be able to, they'd just draw the area in small enough that it would heal fully. If that wasn't possible, they'd have to graft. He told his doctors that if they had to do a graft, please take the graft off his butt....that way he'd have some hair on top of his head.  LOL!!  Turns out the initial surgery was adequate and there was no graft necessary.
