Were those squamous or melanoma? A friend of mine had a melanoma removed from his cheek, looked about like Dave does. He went through some tough Interferon treatments...This was about 25 years ago, no recurrence.
My wife's was on the top of her head, not such a good outcome...Melanoma is a WAY bigger deal than the other forms of skin cancer.
Hope Dave comes through OK...
