I have a commercial license and went to renew it the last time, I took the test and got a passing grade. I didn't buy the book because I felt no need to get it since I have easily passed this test before.
State said no dice, I had to pay $40 for the book I didn't need because there was a number on the book I needed in order to get the license. What a joke.
