If a three year old kid asks us where babies come from, do we give them an anatomically accurate description of conception through birth? Or do we tell them "from momma's tummy"?
Imagine the level of understanding of the universe when the Bible was canonized.
Another thought I have often had when evolution is compared to creationism is why would God create something only to not use the natural laws he created? For a parlor trick or something??? Again, back to communicating with us on a level we can understand at whatever point in our own evolution we are at. | |
