Funerals here are mostly of 3 types.
1 private service or no service at all (especially since covid)
2 private burial or cremation and then a service, followed by a reception
3 funeral service, private burial then reception
Visitation the evening before is rare. I’ve only been to 2 funerals that had a public burial.
