| She was under the impression that she had completely paid for the funeral. They had done this a long time before she died, 10 years Atleast.
I never saw the paperwork and the family didn’t press the issue so maybe grandma was confused. Wife didn’t remember any issue when grandpa died some years before. Maybe they just wrote the funeral home a check for estimated costs and inflation got them. That’s been 5 years ago now. But I’d still be very carefull who you give money to for something you’ll be dead when it happens. | |
