Hillsboro, TN | What part of middle Tennessee are you located? They've been in my part mid-TN for years.
About 3 years ago I used a product called Esteem Ant Bait mixed with broadcast fertilizer. I got it from my local Co-op. Use rate is 1-2 pounds per acres. I applied 1 lb per acre with fertilizer for soybeans. Cost was $13/ acre. I was pleased with the results. It has kept the fire ants in check since. However I will be making another application this year. | |
