I don't think there's a chemical solution for this problem.

The sandburs and Millet are usually taking off at the same time. If you can get them started earlier I suppose that has a chance at out competing, But you're probably putting them in in what, 2 weeks from now?

Perry Brothers' recommended rate (5-10 lbs) has always seemed light to me. Pretty sure I've always at least doubled that. But I feel you're always banking on a rain.

Here's the last time I grew German Millet (2019)

76 RFV
.28 NEG
.50 NEM
.09 Nitrate
