 East Central South Dakota | Thanks for the pics. Do you ever worry about it blowing? That first picture is pretty fine. It might blow up here. We haven't started up here yet and I can't decide whether to Salford in front of the planter or just plant. We usually Salford, but you get a 200–400-acre field blowing, you have something on your hands. Been a lot of years since we had a really dry spring like this. If it doesn't rain soon or planters don't start there won't be a fence line, abandoned farm site, trees or rock piles left. God doesn't make any more land, but the farmers up here sure have been reclaiming a lot of it back to production. Cattails are burning every day the wind doesn't blow---which is once every two weeks. |
