Subject: RE: XS ag P150 spray width?

Southern Missouri
I can tell you one thing for sure , when they’re doing 40 mph and suddenly switch them selves to 22, the spray pattern behind them absolutely sucks as does the chemical rate because the machine can’t compensate correctly for the sudden rate change needed when putting out the correct amount for 40 mph and then it slows to 22 , first burndown that started here in late February looked like a dog with the mange, friggen pitiful , we’ve been using used p100s since February and they never speed up and slow down , never , we sprayed 18000 acres with one p100 last year , didn’t even know this could be an issue, only took two full months for xag to come with this update ( boy that was fast ) wind was very low speed the days it was doing that , we just don’t spray with drones when wind is above 10 ,the amount of water in the 18 gallon tank definitely had an effect on how often it would change speeds , what’s that got to do with wind speed ? Dont think they understood what those speed changes do to the spray pattern to an atomizing nozzle when it’s moving 40 mph and suddenly changes to 22 , if they would have seen those fields where burndown was applied and the 150 was doing that they would of very very easily understood, had to be resprayed , ( for free and that was so much fun ) fields that have something like gramoxone being applied only take a couple days to see the pattern changes ,in the warm part of the country . We’re very cautiously going to switch back to the 150s , as soon as we can drive the six hours it takes to get to the dealer , dealer has been good through this trying to help but it’s sure been a major headache here
