Western Oregon | I got sick at 19, high blood pressure and cholesterol. Put on very low fat, no salt diet for 4 years. Didn't get much better, put on meds, nearly killed me. Liver problems and bleeding. Watched fats for a long time. I had a bad pain in shoulder 6 years ago, did all the heart tests. Inflammation. Went to dietitian. She said lean grass fed meats, free range eggs and pastured butter in moderation, no processed foods, use very little sea salt as needed at the table only, no added sugar, no fake sugar, no corn syrup, very low carb. Took fish oil for 6 mos. Blood tests have been good for 6 years. I take no meds, not even over the counter meds, every one has side effects....James
