Born in 1970 you may very well remember the Farm Crisis. But not quite the same as experiencing it.
The worst of it was 80 81 when the interest peaked.
So you would have been 11 years old.
Perhaps you remember the pain to your parents, which was almost worse than experiencing it yourself.
But most kids knew where their next meal was coming from. But not if their parents got sold out.
At any rate the 80s wasn't as tuff as the 30s. At least not here.
What do you say to people that did fine, or even prospered in the 80’s?
