Kb: Jon's no lefty! Gets old having people on here throwing out labels when they can't come up with a decent counter point. Trump is all about concentrating more and more power in the Executive Branch and that's just flat dangerous and exactly what our founding fathers were trying to prevent when they wrote the articles of the Constitution, which by the way clearly define the power to tariff being in the prevail of Congress not the President.
I trust the judgement of the markets and I see it's another 1000 point down day... losing track of how many we've had now.
We may run big deficits, but a large amount of that money was reinvested buying our debt paper and making other investments in our economy.
That money is now leaving to find other venues. And that will have big consequences!
Didn't say he was. Said he sounds like one. I stand by that. He is for big government and also has a bit of trump hysteria. I remember during trumps last term he was constantly saying trump was big oil and would kill ethanol. Wanted government to save us. We need to quit sucking the teat but the checkoffs and farm groups want more handouts. Jon backs them.
Jon is an alarmest and is either the canary or the do do bird. We have made it through a lot of years since Jon started warning us that the end is near.
