| Jon I enjoy your posts, especially about crop conditions. People who have not experienced it don’t understand. I respect your opinions but have to take issue with a couple things
First, with our government system and politics what it is, a 10-15 year plan would be cratered in 4 or at the most 8 years. Even if POTUS could have unlimited terms, I don’t see Trump lasting that long. Most politicians look only to the next election, so the long term good is seldom to never a factor
That kinda ties in with your number 6 point about congress. They have relegated (abdicated) a lot of their responsibilities to the point of nearly being irrelevant. A couple examples. When was the last time they came up with and passed a budget, vs continuing resolutions? Also the farm bill is what? 3 years overdue?
