SW Ohio
We have one similar, only one pipe in the ground with a "tee" top that engages slot on underside of doors, easily pulled out and replaced with dust cap, doors tied to each other with wedge chain. Another barn with doors well above the ground and made from 2x4's and common barn tin, have a six foot by eight inch piece of plywood that lays flat with metal fingers sticking out at a 90 degree angle to engage the ribs in the metal behind the 2x4 bottom, provides great rigidity to resist wind, ends of doors are chained to the side posts, makes it into one solid door when closed and nothing going down to ground to drive over or get frozen in the snow.
