 NW Iowa | Seems like it took a couple hundred acres to get used to it.
The first 20 by the road could be interesting....
getting everything dialed in is kind of stressful.
Once you get used to what to watch and what to ignore it's pretty easy.
What's amazing is the downforce map.
I FC everything 3.5-4" deep
but you would still see rows with no to 50lbs to 500lbs of downforce
across the bar going through the field.
With the old mechanical drive, 3 bu boxes, air bags and screw adjust sweeps you just drove.
This showed me lots of times i had too much down and not enough pressure at most times....
The singulation was what i liked.
Counts every kernel, and tells you exactly what was dropped. | |
