NW Iowa | I finished yesterday.
ground temp 52 and trending up to mid 60's by nest week
Conditions are absolutely perfect. Some corn in dry dirt at 2.5"
Cold and dry doesn't bother me
Cold and wet is very bad idea.
The problem with waiting is you hit that we pattern later April.
Then guys have tendency to start working wet ground a day early.
The longest i had corn sit is 26 days.
Lost 3000-4000 seeds per acre still had a 30k plus stand.
