in 1980 land here was $1000 an acre, roughly, so at $2.25 that's 444 bushels of corn, or 4.4 years worth of production. Today, land here is $12,500 or so, so 2,777 bushels of production. At 175 bu(here) that's 15.8 years worth of production. at your 200 bushel it's still 13.9 years of production. That's not profits, that's 100% of production. I dunno?
