I do not understand the excitement to slam corn in mid 40s soil temp.
I'm not too far from OP, ours is mid 50's, forecasted to be low 60's next few days, then drop back into 50's, then in a week back to 50. If I didn't have poor timing on hog barn turns, we'd be dropping seed fast.
