We did the hole in concrete and made a sleeve with a bottom in it to fit in concrete hole , drop pin through door bottom into sleeve that has a collar that keeps it above concrete about 1/4 of an inch , when sleeve gets dirt or trash in it ,pull it up , turn up side down tap and the put back in concrete hole , works really good
