Southern MD		Rock and be done. You do need a nice deep edge for it to stay. I did 1-3” river rock and used compact tractor wheel barrow shovel and rake. If used 2-4” I think you would have to place them all by hand. Those are pictures from when we were doing it. As you can see I had to get more rock!
