Do we want trade barriers removed or do we want forced purchases? No tariffs anywhere and nothing changes. Brazil still has a freight and cost advantage into China. (Tariff rates aren’t why China buys Brazilian beans.)

What I think many are hoping for is mandated purchase volumes also with maintaining current customers. So make them buy our grains no matter the price. Be cautious what you wish for. Lots of intended consequences there.
