Don’t believe they would allow a camera system. I have an apple iPad in which I have it set up so it automatically opens on her side on 3 rings on FaceTime. She has hard time running it on her own. The fatigue has been there basicly from the start. I was in hospital and different LTC facility for 2 months this last winter with ankle surgery. Didn’t notice the fatigue then so much but I had no choose. I did stay in contact with her through the iPad FaceTime. I think most is from the fact that she can’t talk. Trying to figure out what she wants and if she hurts( she took Tylenol heavily for arthritis before) and concerns of her eating properly. She seems to understand what we are talking about but her yes and no ( head shake) are about a 50/50 guess. Of course the constant new nurses( traveling nurses) become a challenge. I’ve heard and seen a couple traveling nurses that were basicly mean with some other residents. I put a stop to it but that doesn’t happen over night. Thanks for video on phone. Oh and when state comes in everyone ( staff) is on best behavior. Same crap goes on at other facilities also. One I was in last winter for 20 days- I kept track of my meds real close. Seems my pain meds (oxycodone) was always short from what I was suppose to have. I couldn’t prove it but my gut feeling had me thinking one nurse was the culprit. Have enough patients on it and nice stash at home. Well I went off base there a bit but I’ve had an eye opener over the last two years.
