This all sounds great! And I hope you’re onto something as far a a potential good outcome for US agriculture from this trade war. But rewind back 7 years and we were hoping for exactly the same outcome. Supposedly there was a very beneficial agreement struck between China and the US, which benefited US agriculture. I understand the argument that Biden didn’t enforce the agreement. I’m not disputing that he did or didn’t. But my question is, why isn’t Trump simply trying to enforce the agreement that his first administration negotiated with China??
