North of London | Name is familiar but know nothing about it but heard in news about it being removed.
So your post caused me to do a little research
It seems to be the B vitamins that are added that are against rules about food additives in Canada.
I could not find out which of the B vitamins are added except reference to folic acid also known as B9
I do take B12 from doctors orders but none of the other B vitamins
News discusses one source that was told to stop selling vegemite because of the added B vitamins, counter to food rules, but apparently other sources still sell it.
Expect it will be resolved by either manufacture supplying vegemite without adding the vitamins or coming to agreement with food safety agency on label changes.
I don't think it is anything you will find on grocery store shelves in Canada except specialty stores
I have not been able to find what B vitamins they add except B9. Do they add the other 7 too or only some of them ? | |
