Then wouldn't the answer be to just not buy from those countries until those conditions are met? This was actually Hillary Clinton's objection go the TPP, and probably why Trump administration officials objected to the EU deal. WE were going to be the ones held to higher standards. I mean, you can pick your trade partners. Businesses didn't send jobs overseas because they had no other choice, they did it to "Enhance shareholder value". They didn't care. Everybody is mad at the Govt. for some reason, but it wasn't the Govt what did it. It was unscrupulous businesses, who's boards and CEO's then went on to make billions off of those deals.
