S.C. Wisconsin | The problem with protectionism is it makes domestic manufactures to become lazy. I once sold chain saws and when the European saws came into the US market they blew the American manufactures out of the waters by having a much better performing and more reliable saw because the American manufactures became lazy and now out of business. Then there is the auto industry where they became lazy and now Toyota is the number one manufacture in the world.
