what i`m really getting at is china should buy all their grain needs from the US because we are their biggest by far consumer goods customer. it would be good for them in that they would have a happy customer and the free trade agrument over here would be "well, they are buying all the corn, beans and pork from us" . i know china doesn`t think that way, because no one has called them out on it, so of course they will continue walking on our living room carpet with muddy boots. actually the cost of raw material commodities is so small (10ยข of wheat in a $5 box of cereal) that even if they "over paid" us a buck on corn over argentina (who probably buys very little walmart junk) that over paid of $1 a bushel is peanuts in the scheme of things.

china seems to think all that matters in a business relationship is to be the low cost producer "we`re sending you the cheapest flat screen tv`s so just buy them, shut up and leave us alone!". they won`t reciprocate by importing what we export, they have slave labor, they contribute disproportionately to cliiiimate change and on and on. but now we hurt their feelings by standing up to them???
