| I sell a lot of horse hay to Amish customers here in Northern Indiana. We used to have a decent market for cow hay that was not good enough for horses. That went away five or six years ago when calf prices dropped and hay prices shot up. This year, I have had nine or ten new cow hay customers pop up. These are guys buying 15-40 beef cows. I think we have added a few cows in our neighborhood. My guess is that these guys are going to take a beating buying high priced cows. | |
