Embarrass WI | I met my wife in a bar. I knew her a bit for a while but didn’t really feel an attraction to her. I did for one of her friends, I dated the friend for a while but she didn’t want to be committed long term to a farmer. When she dumped me, she told me that I needed to be dating the girl that turned into my wife. She was the best thing that ever happened to me.
But I lost her to pancreatic cancer after 33 years of marriage.
Now I have a long term girlfriend who is the second best thing to ever happen to me. I met her on Match.com. She grew up 10 miles away, rode the bus with my wife’s cousins, and was living 13 miles away, but I had never met her. We’ve been dating for 9 years and cohabitating for 7. I don’t remember what it cost to sign up for Match but it was the best money I ever wasted. | |
