Floyd County, Iowa | Was cruising Main Street one evening, and saw a couple girls I didn't know walking by Central Park. Asked if they wanted to ride with me, and the blond said I had to stop, get out, and talk first. Pulled over and shut the car off and we sat on a bench in Central Park and talked for quite awhile. That was in 1973, between sophomore and junior high school years. She married me on September 27, 1975, and this fall will be 50 years. 2 daughters and 3 grandkids.
