McPherson, KS | I'm running FrekingPolypays genetics in my Polypays in Central Kansas... average 1.6-1.8 drop on ewe lambs as 12-16 month-olds in February-March lambing. mature ewes anywhere from 200%- 250% drop rate in the spring...No cidrs and no flushing ration at all... Fall drop is probably 1.6-1.85 on mature ewes in October-Nov...
This year I had fallborn ewe lambs lamb as 14 to 16 month-olds drop a lot of triplets as first time lambers... That's kind of an eye-opener. | |
