I have flamer as well but really don’t enjoy using it.


If that doesn't perfectly sum up flamers, I don't know what does.

Giant ragweed and volunteer sunflower are very similar in early growth. Flamer will kill more than half at the right growth stage (first or second set of true leaves emerged) and stunt the rest enough to bury most. There will be some survivors though. Gotta hand rogue after to get them if wanting to stop seed production.
