UP / Thumb of Michigan | I'm not all that concerned about who (or what) makes stuff thats essential to our well being in the USA. As long as some of our lost production gets brought back here. The list of things we manufactured before and during WW 2 for example is VERY short now. You can't buy a US produced bearing today. Think about that. Could we have won the second world war had we not had a supply of bearings available? Thats just one simple thing in a big picture.
And- yes, we all know that our potential work force may have changed. But I'm fortunate (I think anyway) to know a lot of young people who are smart, hard workers who will do just fine. Its not all doom and gloom. | |
