Subject: RE: Bringing back mfg. to USA

My opinion is bringing back manufacturing to the US is great. Problem being no one wants to work. Especially in a factory, longer than 8 hour shifts, weekends, holidays or night shift. Forget about it. These kids are entitled A holes that mom and dad wiped their a$$e$. I’ve done factory work for 28 years, 19 years on nights, seen a million people come and go. Started farming 20 years ago from scratch, remodeled 2 different houses while living in them and raising 3 kids. This generation doesn’t know hard work or what being busy is. Millennials are bad, gen Z worse and now the alpha generation takes the cake. Go to any HS sporting event and observe. Lazy, spoiled and can’t even get out of sweats or pajamas to go in public. It concerns me more everyday.
On the farmers side, I see many younger guys ride dad or grandpas coat tail (nothing wrong with that to a certain extent) then never get a job, have a retirement, build assets on their own, move out of parents or buy their own home. They wake up at age 40 and figure out they haven’t done any of this and expect all land assets to be left to them. I don’t know how many 20 some year old farmers driving around all day in the Cummins daddy bought when they could be punching a time clock and building their net worth. To each their own.
