East Central Arkansas | A few years ago I decided I wanted a better push planter. I had seen the Hoss brand stuff at a farm show in Georgia. I thought I liked it but I didn't study it close enough. First thing they were demoing there stuff in a very sandy area with no previous crop residue. The so called disc opener is a joke. The seed metering system is just alright but not convenient when doing short rows of multiple varieties of seed. I had to add extra weight to the planter and extra support for the push handles. A lot of money and time spent and I still grab the Earthway. The Hoss I have to load on trailer to take to the garden the Earthway grab with one hand and put on back of 4 wheeler. | |
