Kansas | Looks like it’s all gonna be in Oklahoma again. If only I lived in Oklahoma… Last several rains have taken exactly the same path. 0.30 inch since middle of February. Gonna take more than the forecasted 1/2 inch to save the wheat crop here, and that’s if they don’t change the path of this thing again. I used to think if it rained to our south early, then we would get rain later in summer. Sure hasn’t worked like that the last few years. This is a 1950s style weather pattern for sure. Last 4 years, our wheat average has been 25 percent below APH. And wheat is the only dryland crop we havent collected insurance on every year.
